This whole year has been a challenge. From losing weddings, to having our couples postpone them. It was looking like a very grim and dark season for us.

Alson & Wyanet were to get married in Goa and had a beautiful beach wedding plan set out. We were excited about it. But fortunately / unfortunately (we’d like to go with fortunately)  they had to reschedule and prepone the wedding and the location changed to Mumbai, and, oh boy! was it a beautiful one. A wedding that would definitely go down in our ‘favorite weddings we’ve shot‘ list.

Everything from where they got ready, to where they exchanged vows and to where they dined and danced, was so well thought of and executed. We forgot that we were in the middle of a pandemic. No doubt there were some hiccups in between, with the aircon of the bride’s gorgeous room failing, and the bride jumping around from room to room, to the weather being a gloomy one and the sun hiding behind the clouds. To our driver who decided to take a longer route to reach the wedding reception which had us scrambling around to reach on time. But, what is a wedding without these moments. You can look back and laugh or cry and relive those days.

Simplicity was the main focus for this wedding. Family was the heart of it. Uncle William gave us a run for our money with his phone photography, always either a step ahead of us or behind. Sometimes or many a time clicking us in action. Karaoke echoed on the dance floor, while a delish lunch was served. Alson with his wit and humor while,  Wyanet with her bright smile and gentleness tied the families together in laughter, song and dance.

Here’s a small glimpse to their beautiful little, Mumbai wedding.

Love,

Rahul & Fabian
